Adopting an Older Child Empty

I've been wondering about the option of adopting an older child, maybe older than a toddler but under 10. Does anyone know how to even start looking into something like this?

Thanks.

Yes! First you have to find an adoption agency or you could try foster care with the option of wanting to adopt (a lot of older kids are in the foster system). You can check your local phone book for listings under ADOPTION.

They'll have you fill out paperwork to see if you qualify. Most agencies require one or both parents to be at least 30 years old. From there, they will work with you!
